Our commitment to the planet is driven through these business practices:
AHHA supports the arts in our community through education, events, and involvement with all arts in the Tulsa community. Twice a year the Ihloff Creative Team does an installation for the First Friday Art Walk.
CHERRY STREET FARMERS’ MARKET strives to provide Oklahoma growers and producers the opportunity to directly market their agricultural products to local consumers. The market was co-founded by Marilyn Ihloff and Susan Simmons in 1998 and has become a Tulsa institution.
The mission of DRESS FOR SUCCESS is to promote the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.
Our mission is to return a sense of self, confidence and normalcy to children suffering from hair loss by utilizing donated ponytails to provide the highest quality hair prosthetics to financially disadvantaged children. The children receive hair prostheses free of charge or on a sliding scale, based on financial need. Ihloff guests and team support CWHL, Children With Hair Loss, by sending in hair that is at least 8 inches long.
MOSAIC is the Chamber’s Diversity Business Council and its mission is to educate, lead, and influence businesses on creating diverse and inclusive workforce cultures to enhance their competitive advantage. Marilyn Ihloff will be the 2015-16 chair.
Walk MS: Tulsa is first and foremost a fundraising event. Money raised at this year’s event will support research progress in many areas, moving us closer to our ultimate goal of a world without MS. Ihloff is proud to provide walkers and support staff for this event.
SUSTAINABLE TULSA’S vision is that “Tulsan’s value, embrace and choose sustainable practices every day.” Ihloff team members support Jeans Friday with a $5 donation and, in 2014 raised over $8000 for Sustainable Tulsa.
TULSA GIRLS ART SCHOOL (TGAS) is a Tulsa based nonprofit organization that acts as an after school visual arts program for underserved elementary, middle and high school girls attending inner-city schools in the community. The Ihloff Team works all year volunteering with TGAS and partners each year to raise funds through blending our Fall Show with TGAS’s “Through a Child’s Eye” event.
TULSA REGIONAL CHAMBER is the region’s principal business-driven leadership organization dedicated to improving the quality of community life through the development of regional economic prosperity. Ihloff Salon & Day Spa is a proud member.
The mission of Turn Tulsa Pink is to bring to light the local grassroots charities that provide services and support to all people affected by cancer in our communities. We Believe Charity Begins at Home. Our friend, Judi Grove, runs an amazing organization that truly “keeps it local”.
